It does not happen overnight, in a week or in a month. You have to be consistent and positive.
How did you become interested in event planning and designing?
I started with my background as a project manager as the foundation and added creativity and discovered that is what an event planner/designer does. I love schedules, designing and putting together meetings for corporate and social events. It truly encompasses all of my abilities. Although it is A LOT of work, I love the glitz and the glam and the details that go into planning an event. I also love, at the end of a project, the thrill of knowing it was because of me that a bride is happy; that a company fundraiser was successful; a parent could enjoy their child’s birthday and not run around doing things.
